Integral Token Vault Reduces PCI Burden	2009-12-07
A leading Internet ISP has selected Integral to provide a Tokenisation service with a view to reducing the burden of PCI DSS compliance. In summary, the PCI Data Security Standard mandates very high levels of security and encryption around the storing and processing of credit card numbers. Integral will provide a service where the credit card numbers are securely stored in Integral’s Token Vault and the merchant stores the Integral Token number in their customer database. Using Integral’s Web Service, payment authorisations are sent to Integral using the token number. By removing the storage of credit card numbers from their customer databases, the merchant has greatly reduced the burden of PCI DSS compliance.
